
Federal Issue Domet Flannel Shirt
The standard issue shirt of the Union Army from the 1850’s until 1872. This shirt is ENTIRELY hand sewn, no machine sewing whatsoever. Pattern for this shirt is from an original garment made by A. S. Saroni of New York, featured in a detailed article in the Journal of the Company of Military Historians, Fall 1995.
