1858 Pattern Willcox & Gibbs chain stitch sewing machine. This
is the true Civil War era machine with the early glass tension.
This pattern machine was made from 1858 to 1873.
The machine is mounted with the simple hand crank on the treadle
pulley but the machine can be removed from base for treadle
mounting. There is still quite a bit of the original fancy trim
present so it looks very nice. It is an excellent sewer.
Don’t miss your chance to own a true Civil War era machine.
$350.00 plus $29.00 shipping.
I guarantee its safe arrival. |
